Review of Super8
Super8 is a typical produced Steven Spielberg movie that I loved! This was a excellent 80’s Sci-fi, thriller movie with amazing mysterious scenes that captured the attention of the audience at the very beginning. The movie is produced by Steven Spielberg, an American screen writer and producer that is considered one of the most popular and greatest filmmakers of all time. Spielberg is also known for making hit movies like Jaws, E.T and Jurassic park. What many of Steven Spielberg movies have in common are that these are all mainly adventurous, science fiction movies.  I would say that Super8 would have to be one of the all time greatest movies of Steven Spielberg. 
The characters in super8 are a group of 5 young likeable kids and is mainly centred about a young boy called Joe lamb and his friends Charles, Cary, Martin, Preston and Alice. These main 5 have a major part to the movie that manage to entertain and make it more appealing to the audiences. The kids in the film are all really great actors, the fit the typical 80’s appearance look perfectly from the way they dress, talk and act. I would give the acting skills all together 9/10. All of the characters really outshined and gave spectacular performances but personally my favourite one would be the girl who played Alice.
The film is basically about a group of 5 young kids that are bored and have nothing to do for the summer , that are trying to put together a Super8 zombie movie to enter a film festive. Joe lambs father had planed that summer to send Joe to a basketball camp because of the fact that he couldn’t deal with looking after Joe on his own after the loss of his wife. But Joe had other plans with his friends for the summer.
This film is a mainly aimed at young children from ages 15 and under or even aimed at families
The only thing that disappointed me about the film is that from the beginning builds up a climax that promises something big and just ends up delivering something pretty ordinary and simple. i know that they could of worked on that.
